A Note from Brian...

For more than 25 years, I've had the privilege of serving the local church. Throughout that time, God has allowed me to serve in a variety of roles, from leading worship to designing church-wide teaching experiences that bring together sermons, worship, small groups, and personal devotions. I've always been drawn to helping people see the beauty of God's story through experiences that engage both the mind and the heart. The Jesus Tree is the fruit of that passion.

I love the local church and believe it is God's beautiful plan for making disciples. One of my greatest joys has been helping people discover that the Bible is not a collection of disconnected stories, but one unified story of God's redeeming work through Jesus Christ. Every page of Scripture is leading us to Him.

That conviction became the foundation for The Jesus Tree. My prayer is that these daily readings help you better understand the storyline of the Bible, stand in greater awe of God's faithfulness across generations, and celebrate Christmas with a deeper appreciation for the Promised One.
